Ingredients

 8 cups Basic Chinese Chicken or Pork Broth
 4 dried forest mushrooms, softened in water to cover and slivered
 Ginger root slice1
 Dried shrimp1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 1 handful of dried, bulk seaweed, soaked in water to cover 10 minutes, washed in 3 or 4 changes of water and coarsely chopped
 Ground pork1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Water chestnuts1/4 Cup (16 tbs), diced
 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Directions

Combine broth, mushrooms, ginger and shrimp; cover, bring to boil, lower heat and simmer 20 minutes.
Add seaweed, pork and water chestnuts, bring to boil, lower heat and simmer 15 minutes.
Just before serving sprinkle with green onions.
