Seasoned Butter Pieces Recipe
Seasoned butter pieces is a recipe for prepararing spiced or flavored butter that can be used in cooking or serving later on. Prepared by mixing the butter with a seasoning of choice, the seasoned butter pieces are chilled and frozen and can be stored in the fridge for later use.
Ingredients
| Parmesan cheese | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| Chili powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Soy sauce | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 teaspoons chopped parsley flakes | ||
| Dill weed | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 2 tablespoons grated lemon peel and 1 tablespoon lemon juice | ||
| 2 tablespoons grated orange peel and 1 tablespoon orange juice | ||
Directions
Mix 1/2 cup butter or margarine softened, and 1/2 cup all purpose flour.
Stir in one of the following seasonings and 4 or 5 drops yellow food color:
Drop mixture by level measuring tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper.
Chill until firm, about 1 hour.
Freeze or refrigerate in covered container or plastic bag
