Seafood Bisque Recipe
Ingredients
1/4 cup chopped green onions with tops
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
4 cups milk
1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
3/4 cup fresh crabmeat, drained and flaked
3/4 cup shrimp, peeled, uncooked, and chopped
3 tablespoons chopped parsley
Directions
Saute green onions in butter in a heavy saucepan until tender.
Add flour, stirring until smooth.
Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Gradually add milk, cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly.
Stir in hot sauce, salt, and pepper.
Stir in crabmeat and shrimp, cook over low heat until shrimp turns pink.
Stir in parsley.
