Rich Seafood Au Gratin Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1 Medium, chopped | |
| 1 stem celery, chopped | ||
| Green pepper | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Parsley | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), finely chopped | |
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1/4 teaspoon chicken bouillon, dissolved in 1/2 cup hot water | ||
| 1/2 pound lump crab meat, fresh, frozen or canned | ||
| 1/2 pound cleaned, raw shrimp, fresh, frozen or canned | ||
| Lobster meat | 1/2 pound, frozen | |
| Cheddar Cheese | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| 1/3 cup grated Swiss cheese | ||
Directions
Defrost any frozen seafood.
Flake or cut lobster into chunks.
Set aside.
In 1-quart bowl, combine onion, celery, green pepper, parsley, garlic and butter.
MICROWAVE 3 to 4 MINUTES on HIGH, or until vegetables are tender.
Add flour, stir until smooth.
Add bouillon to water; stir till smooth.
MICROWAVE 30 to 45 SECONDS on HIGH, or until thickened.
Add seafood; mix well.
Divide mixture evenly among four individual casseroles.
MICROWAVE 4 to 5 MINUTES on HIGH, or until seafood turns opaque.
Stir once.
Combine cheeses.
Sprinkle over the top of each casserole.
MICROWAVE 1 MINUTE 30 SECONDS on HIGH, or until cheese is melted.
