Directions

MAKING
1) Into a basin, measure the milk, eggs and seasoning and beat the ingredients together with a fork.
2) In a small saucepan, heat the butter and strain in the milk-egg mixture.
3) Cook over low heat, stirring, and keep moving the egg from the pan's bottom as it sets.
4) Meanwhile, also toast the bread and butter.
5) Once the mixture has set, but is still creamy, spoon it out right away and place onto the slices of hot buttered toast. If the mixture is left in the pan for extra time, it will continue to cook and become dry.
