Scones,in early days,were made in open fire place.Scone is a British snack which has a Scottish origin.This delicious bread can be enjoyed at breakfast,tea time,at brunch or just to munch.

Ingredients

 All purpose flour2 Cup (32 tbs)
 Baking powder2 Teaspoon
 Salt1⁄2 Teaspoon
 Butter1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
 Buttermilk3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)

Directions

Combine flour,baking powder,salt,butter,give it a good mix with your hands or a in a blender,till the mixture becomes crumbly.Add buttermilk to this & make a dough.Make small balls of this dough & flatten these balls on a baking sheet.Pork it with fork & bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes or till they turn light brown.
Serve hot with a cup of tea.
(You can also spread jam in between the scones but that is optional).
