| Sugar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Milk | 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) | |
| Milk/Egg | 1 Tablespoon (For Glazing) |

Directions
Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a mixing bowl.
Rub in butter.
Add sugar and milk and mix to a soft dough.
Add more milk if necessary.
Roll out quickly to 1/2 inch thickness on a lightly floured board.
Lightly flour a round cutter and cut out scones.
Place on lightly floured baking sheet and glaze tops with milk or lightly beaten egg.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Wrap in dish-towel till ready to serve.
