Scampi Recipe
Ingredients
1 lb. large shrimp
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
6 cloves of garlic, crushed
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
1 tsp. grated lemon peel
1 tbsp. lemon juice
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Shell shrimp; leave tails intact.
Devein.
Melt butter in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
Add salt, gjirlic and 1 tablespoon parsley; mix well.
Arrange shrimp in single layer in baking dish.
Bake for 5 minutes.
Turn shrimp; sprinkle with lemon peel, lemon juice and remaining parsley.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes longer or until just tender.
Arrange shrimp on neated platter.
Pour butter mixture over.
Garnish with lemon wedges.
Serve immediately.
