Ingredients

 
1 pound scallops (bay, if available)
 
1 cup soy sauce
 
3 tablespoons sugar
 
2 teaspoons minced ginger root
 
1/2 teaspoon Accent

Directions

If bay scallops are used, leave them whole.
Cut sea scallops in quarters.
In a saucepan, combine the soy sauce, sugar, ginger, and Accent.
Bring to a boil and add the scallops.
Cook over medium heat until all the liquid is absorbed.
