Ingredients

 
1 egg
 
1 cup cream style corn
 
1 cup canned whole kernel corn (including 3 tablespoons liquid)
 
Butter
 
1/3 cup half and half
 
24 to 30 soda crackers, crushed (reserve enough for topping)

Directions

Beat egg in a bowl with a fork until frothy.
Blend in salt and pepper to taste and the corn.
Add chunks of butter (about 2 tablespoons), half and half, and cracker crumbs; mix well.
Turn into a buttered 1 quart casserole.
Top with reserved crumbs and dot generously with butter.
Bake at 350°F 30 minutes.
