Scalloped Tomatoes Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 2 Teaspoon, minced | |
| Green pepper | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), dried | |
| Tabasco sauce | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Tomatoes | 3 Cup (16 tbs), quartered | |
| Sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Flour | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Bread crumbs | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), buttered |
Directions
1. Melt butter in saucepan. Add onion and green pepper; cook until tender, but not brown.
2. Stir in Tabasco sauce; add tomatoes, sugar, salt, and flour. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
3. Turn into a greased 1-quart casserole. Sprinkle with buttered bread crumbs. Bake in 375° oven until crumbs are nicely browned, about 15 minutes.
