Scalloped Spinach Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 10-ounce packages frozen chopped spinach | ||
| Milk | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| American Cheese | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), shredded | |
| Eggs | 3 , beaten | |
| Onion | 3 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
| Soft bread crumbs | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1 Tablespoon, melted | |
Directions
Cook spinach according to package directions; drain well.
Mix with milk, 1/2 cup of the cheese, eggs, onion, salt, and pepper.
Turn into a greased 8x8x2-inch baking pan.
Bake in a 350°F oven for 25 minutes.
Combine crumbs, the remaining cheese, and butter or margarine; sprinkle atop spinach.
Bake 10 to 15 minutes more or till a knife inserted just off-center comes out clean.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
