Easy Baked Scalloped Potatoes Recipe

These Scalloped Potatoes were awesome. I made this Scalloped Potatoes out of pure instinct and was delighted with the result. Anyone will like it!

Ingredients

 
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
 
1 small onion, minced
 
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
 
1 teaspoon salt
 
1/8 teaspoon pepper
 
1 1/2 cups milk
 
4 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
 
Paprika

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F. In 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, in hot butter or margarine, cook onion until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper until blended. Gradually stir in milk and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
2. In 2-quart casserole, arrange half of the potatoes in a layer; pour half of the sauce on top; repeat. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake, covered, 45 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer or until tender.
