Scalloped Oysters With Worcestershire Sauce Recipe

3/4 cup dry seasoned bread crumbs
 
1/3 cup melted butter
 
1 pint fresh oysters, drained but saving liquor
 
1/2 tsp. salt
 
1/4 tsp. pepper
 
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
 
1/3 cup finely diced celery
 
2 Tbsp. minced parsley
 
1 cup liquid, half oyster liquor and half cream or milk
 
Parsley, minced

Directions

Combine bread crumbs and butter, spread 1/3 of mixture in 2 qt glass casserole.
Layer oysters over crumbs.
Combine salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, celery, parsley and liquid; pour over crumbs.
Top with leftover crumb mixture; sprinkle with parsley.
Microwave (high) 10 minutes, rotating 1/4 turn halfway through cooking.
Rest 5 minutes.
