Scalloped Mince Bake Recipe
Ingredients
| Ground beef | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onion | 1 , finely chopped | |
| 2 beef bouillon cubes | ||
| 1 x 7 1/2 oz can baked beans | ||
| 3 tablespoons water or tomato juice | ||
| Thinly sliced potatoes | 2 2/3 Cup (16 tbs), peeled | |
| Cheese | 1 Teaspoon (Leveled), grated | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
1 Place the beef and onion in a 1.75 litre/3 pint (7 1/2 cup) casserole.
2 Stir well and microwave on full power for 3 minutes.
3 Stir and pour off excess fat. Add the crumbled stock (bouillon) cube, beans and water or tomato juice.
4 Stir and season with salt and pepper. Arrange the potato slices over surface, to cover thinly.
5 Cover with a lid and microwave on power 7 for 20 minutes.
6 Sprinkle a little cheese over the potato and return to microwave oven for 2 minutes on full power to melt, then brown under a preheated grill (broiler).
2 Stir well and microwave on full power for 3 minutes.
