Scalloped Dandelion Greens Recipe
Ingredients
| 6 cups young dandelion greens | ||
| Water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 3 hard-cooked eggs, chopped | ||
| Milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Margarine | 1 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Flour | 1 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Cheddar Cheese | 1 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
Directions
Simmer greens in water 10 minutes in covered pot.
Drain well.
Make white sauce by melting margarine in saucepan.
Stir in flour, then slowly add milk and cheese.
Cook until thickened.
Add eggs.
Pour over greens in baking dish and bake in 400°F.oven 15 minutes.
