Scalloped Clams Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter | 7 Tablespoon | |
| Bread crumbs | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), toasted | |
| 1 cup cracker crumbs | ||
| Paprika | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 2 cups finely chopped clams | ||
| 2 tablespoons minced shallots or scallions | ||
| Parsley | 3 Tablespoon, minced | |
| Light cream | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat oven to temperature 375 degrees.
MAKING
2) Combine together 6 tablespoons of the butter with bread crumbs and cracker crumbs and mix well.
3) Season with salt and pepper to taste and add the paprika.
4) Keep aside 1/3 cup of this mixture for topping.
5) Mix together the remainder of the mixture and the clams, shallots or scallions and parsley.
6) Spoon the mixture into a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the 1/3 cup of reserved crumb mixture over the top.
7) Pour in the light cream, dot the top with the remainder of the tablespoon butter.
8) Place in preheated oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.

9) Serve hot.
