Scalloped Clams Recipe
Ingredients
| Bacon Slices | 4 | |
| Onion | 1 Small, minced | |
| Minced | 2 Can (10oz), drained | |
| Soda crackers | 8 , crushed | |
| 1 egg, slightly beaten | ||
| Milk | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Fry bacon until crisp; lift bacon out of pan and drain.
Add the onion to the bacon fat in the pan, and cook slowly until golden brown.
Stir in the clams and crackers.
Combine egg with milk and stir into the clam mixture.
Turn into a well greased 1-quart baking dish.
Crumble the bacon over the top.
Let the casserole stand at room temperature for 15 minutes, then bake, uncovered, in moderate oven (350°) for about 20 minutes.
Makes 3 or 4 servings.
