Scallion Fans Recipe
Ingredients
12 or more scallions (green onions)
Directions
Trim off the root end of the scallions.
Cut green leaves down to the top of the white bulb base.
Halve large-scallions lengthwise.
Shred the tops and bottoms of each scallion vertically with a knife.
Drop into a bowl of ice water.
Refrigerate 1 hour, or until onions fan out.
