Ingredients
| 250 gms. mutton, cut in pieces | ||
| Turmeric powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Tomatoes | 3 , chopped | |
| Ghee | 10 Tablespoon | |
| Onions | 2 , chopped | |
| 1 cup sour curds | ||
| Coriander leaves | 1 Bunch (100gm), chopped | |
| Garlic | 4 Clove (5gm) | |
| 3/4 teaspoon caraway seed and cardamom powder | ||
| Green chilli | 1 | |
| Coriander powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
Directions
Put the meat, ghee, curds and all the spices (except the caraway and cardamom powder) in a heavy pan.
Marinate for half an hour.
Add the onions and tomatoes.
Put the pan on a moderate fire, cover with a shallow dish filled with water, placing a weight on it to prevent steam from escaping.
After twenty minutes, add salt and one or two cups of water, depending on the quantity of gravy desired.
Cook till tender.
Add the caraway and cardamom powder and coriander leaves.
