Sayal Fish Recipe
Ingredients
250 gms. fish
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 tomatoes, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 cup water
8 tablespoons ghee
Grind to a paste:
Coriander leaves
2 green chillies
1 tablespoon mint, chopped
1 onion
Few spinach leaves
3 garlic cloves
1/2 ginger
Directions
Clean the fish and season with salt.
Heat ghee on a moderate fire.
Put in tomatoes and after five minutes the other ingredients and lastly the fish.
Sprinkle a little water over the fish, and cover it.
After five minutes turn the fish.
When the fish gets soft (within about fifteen or twenty minutes), remove it from the fire.
