Savoury Cheese Puffs Recipe
Ingredients
225 grams (8 oz.) cooking cheese
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 to 2 tablespoons chilli sauce
1 egg-white
24 bread fingers
25 mm. x 50 mm. (1"x2"), salt to taste
Directions
1. Grate the cheese.
2. Beat the egg-white stiffly.
3. Add the grated cheese, chilli sauce and salt to the egg-white.
4. Apply this mixture on the bread fingers.
5. Chill for 1 to 2 hours.
6. Bake in a hot oven at 400°F. for 15 minutes or until the cheese is puffy and lightly browned. Serve hot.
