Ingredients

 
2 cupfuls canned or fresh cooked shrimp
 
1/2 garlic clove
 
1/2 teaspoonful prepared mustard
 
4 tablespoonful butter or margarine
 
1 tablespoonful minced parsley
 
1/2 teaspoonful sugar
 
4 tablespoonful flour
 
1 1/4 teaspoonful salt
 
3 cupful milk
 
1/8 teaspoonful pepper
 
1 large onion, finely minced

Directions

Cook the minced onion and garlic clove in the butter until the onion is tender.
Remove the garlic and add to the fat the flour, prepared mustard, sugar, salt, and pepper.
When thoroughly blended, add the shrimp and the milk, while stirring constantly.
Heat thoroughly, add the chopped parsley, and serve at once with a sprinkle of paprika on top.
