Savory Herbed Steak Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 beef top loin or tenderloin steaks cut 1 inch thick (1 1/4 pounds total) | ||
| Dried basil | 1 1/2 Teaspoon, crushed | |
| Dried tarragon | 1 Teaspoon, crushed | |
| Snipped chives | 1 Teaspoon, dried | |
| Garlic | 4 Clove (5gm), minced | |
Directions
Trim fat from steaks.
Combine basil, tarragon, chives, and garlic.
Rub herb mixture on both sides of steaks, pressing into surface.
Place steaks on the cooking grill.
Grill 6 to 7 minutes for rare, 7 to 9 minutes for medium, or 9 to 11 minutes for well-done, turning once halfway through grilling time.
