Savory Creamed Mushrooms Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onion | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Green pepper | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Flour | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Milk | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| American Cheese | 1/2 Pound, shredded | |
| Mushrooms | 2 Can (10oz) | |
| 3 hard-cooked eggs, sliced | ||
| Pimento | 3 Tablespoon, minced | |
| 1/4 c. sliced stuffed green olives | ||
| 2 5-oz. cans chow mein noodles | ||
| 16 Ige. fresh mushroom | ||
Directions
Melt butter in saucepan over low heat; cook onion and green pepper until tender.
Blend in flour; add milk gradually.
Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce is smooth and thickened.
Add cheese and drained mushrooms; simmer until cheese is melted.
Add eggs, pimento and olives; heat through.
Serve over chow mein noodles.
