Savory Chicken Pie Recipe

Ingredients
Butter – 4 tablespoons
Flour – 4 tablespoons
Salt – 1 teaspoon
Chicken Broth – 1 cup
Milk – 1 cup
Mustard – 1 tablespoon
Rosemary – ¼ teaspoon crushed
Cooked Chicken -2 cups, diced
Canned Whole Boiled Onions – 1 (8 ounces)
Cooked Peas – 1 cup
Canned Mushrooms – 1 (3 ounces), drained
Instant Mashed Potato Granules – 1 envelope
Directions
MAKING
1) In a saucepan, melt butter and blend in flour and salt
2) Add in the chicken broth and the milk and cook over a low heat till smooth and thickened
3) Add in the mustard and crushed rosemary
4) Tip in the diced cooked, drained onion, peas and mushrooms
5) Pour the mixture in a 2 quart casserole and bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 350F
6) Follow the instructions on the package and prepare the potatoes
7) Fill in the potato mixture in a decorative bag
8) Pipe the mashed potatoes around the edge of the casserole
9) Brush the potatoes with the butter and then the paprika and bake for an additional 15 minutes till lightly browned

10) Serve the dish warm
