Savory Kraut N Wieners Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Stalk celery | 1 , sliced | |
| Onion | 1 Small, sliced | |
| Sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 cube or teaspoon beef bouillon | ||
| Ground ginger | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Cornstarch | 1 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| 1 tablespoon chopped pimiento, if desired | ||
| Vinegar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Water | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sauerkraut | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Wieners | 8 | |
Directions
In 2-quart casserole, combine butter, celery and onion.
Cook uncovered, 2 minutes, stirring after butter melts.
Stir in sugar, bouillon, ginger and cornstarch.
Add pimiento, vinegar, water and sauerkraut; mix well.
Cook covered, 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Arrange wieners on top and cook covered, 2 minutes or until heated through.
