Savory Daisies Recipe
Ingredients
| White bread slice | 6 | |
| 2 tbs soft margarine or butter | ||
| Garlic salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1 small jar fish paste: smoked salmon, oyster or bloater | ||
| 1 small can any meat paste | ||
| Sour cream | ||
| Grated Cheddar cheese | ||
Directions
Trim crusts from the bread; spread slices with a creamed mixture of the margarine and garlic salt.
Cut each slice into 4 squares.
Pinch the corners and press squares, spread-side down, into 24 small tart pans.
Blend fish paste with just enough sour cream to moisten; spoon into half the little bread cases.
Blend meat paste with a spoon or so of sour cream; add this mixture to remaining cases.
Sprinkle all cases with grated cheese.
Bake at 400F for 6 or 7 minutes, or until bread tips are lightly toasted.
