Savory Cheese Pockets Recipe
Ingredients
| Cottage cheese | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Skim milk | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Zucchini | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), shredded | |
| Cheddar Cheese | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dill weed | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Onion powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 2 6" whole-wheat pita breads | ||
Directions
In a blender or small food processor, blend or process the cottage cheese and milk until smooth.
Transfer the cottage cheese mixture to a small bowl.
Stir in the zucchini, cheddar cheese, dillweed and onion powder.
Cut each pita crosswise in half to form 2 pockets.
Fill each pocket with the cheese mixture.
