 Boiling water1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 1/2-3/4 c. butter, margarine, fat, or salad oil
 Onion1/2 Cup (16 tbs), minced
 Pepper1/4 Teaspoon
 1 tablesp. poultry seasoning
 Salt1 1/2 Teaspoon
 2 tablesp. dry or prepared mustard
 2 tablesp. diced celery
 3 qts lightly packed, day-old bread crumbs
 2 tablesp. minced parsley

Directions

Combine the boiling water, butter, and onion, and simmer 5 min.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Stuffs body cavity of a bird weighing about 8 lbs minus head, feet and organs.
