Sauteed Corn Recipe
A never to be missed recipe of Sauteed Corn. Once you try this Sauteed Corn things will change for good. You will be tempted to prepare this Sauteed Corn recipe again.
Ingredients
2 cups (10 oz.) fresh or frozen cut corn
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 tablespoon sugar
Salt and pepper
Directions
In skillet, combine corn, butter and sugar.
Cook over medium-high heat until tender, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Season with salt and pepper.
TIPS:
If desired, add 2 tablespoons chopped green pepper or pimiento or 1 teaspoon chopped chives.
Bacon also can be used. Cook 2 slices and set aside.
Use drippings for butter and garnish cooked corn with crumbled bacon.
Herbs accent a colorful trio of summer vegetables.
