Sauteed Sauerkraut Recipe
Ingredients
| Sauerkraut | 2 Pound | |
| 4 tablespoons duck fat, vegetable oil, bacon fat, or butter | ||
| Onion | 1 Medium, chopped | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), chopped | |
| Apple | 1 Small, chopped | |
| Pepper | 1 To taste | |
Directions
Heat fat and add onion, garlic, and apple.
Cook 2 minutes and add the sauerkraut (do not drain or wash).
Grind some pepper over kraut and stir to mix well.
Turn to medium heat and cover.
Cook 30-35 minutes.
Sauerkraut will be crunchy.
