Sauteed Cabbage With Toasted Seeds Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 green cabbage, shredded | ||
| 1 tbsp light vegetable oil | ||
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| Black mustard seeds | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 125g mixed seeds, such as sunflower, pumpkin, and sesame | ||
| Dark soy sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Cook the cabbage in boiling water for 5-6 minutes, until almost tender.
Tip into a colander and leave to drain well.
Meanwhile, heat the oil in a deep-sided, heavy-based frying pan.
Add the garlic and fry over a medium heat for 1 minute.
Add the mustard seeds and the mixed seeds and continue to fry over a medium heat for 2 minutes, so that the seeds brown but do not burn.
Take the pan off the heat, add the cabbage, and turn the ingredients with two spoons to mix them well.
