1 medium-sized head green cabbage
 
2 tablespoons salad oil
 
1 teaspoon salt
 
1/2 teaspoon sugar
 
1/2 10-ounce bag spinach

Directions

1. Core and coarsely slice cabbage.
2. In 5-quart Dutch oven over high heat, in hot salad oil, cook cabbage, salt, and sugar, stirring frequently, until cabbage is tender-crisp, about 5 minutes. Add spinach; cook 1 minute longer, stirring constantly.
