Sauteed Broccoli with Spring Onions Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 kg broccoli, cut into small florets | ||
| Butter | 75 Gram | |
| Oil | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 5 spring onions, sliced on the slant | ||
| Garlic | 4 Clove (5gm), chopped | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ground black pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Juice of 1 lime | ||
| 2 tbsp poppy seeds, lightly toasted | ||
Directions
MAKING
1)In boiling water blanch broccoli for 4-5 minutes then drain and refresh thoroughly.
2)In a skillet, heat butter with oil and add broccoli, spring onions and garlic and saute for 3-4 minutes.
3)Sprinkle salt, pepper and lime juice.
4) Toss well.
SERVING
5) Transfer to a serving dish and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
