Sauteed Asparagus Recipe

Ingredients
1 lb. asparagus with firm tips
1/3 cup water
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp low-calorie margarine
1 tsp unsalted butter
2 tsp cornstarch
2 tsp water
1/8 tsp Tone's black pepper
Directions
Peel the asparagus and cut into 2 in. (5 cm) pieces.
Combine the water and salt in a nonstick skillet.
Bring to the boiling point and add asparagus.
Cover and cook for about 2 minutes.
Add the margarine and butter; stir until melted.
Combine cornstarch and water in a cup or shaker.
Mix and pour over asparagus.
Add the pepper.
Gently stir over medium heat until mixture is clear and thickened.
Add a small amount of extra water, if mixture becomes too thick.
