Sauteed Mushrooms Recipe
Ingredients
| 350 g / 12 oz / 3/4 lb fresh large mushrooms | ||
| Olive oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| black pepper | 1 | |
| Garlic | 3 Clove (5gm), peeled, finely chopped | |
| 3 shallots, peeled and finely chopped | ||
| 2 tbsp fine white dry breadcrumbs | ||
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Freshly chopped parsley | ||
Directions
Remove stalks from mushrooms, and chop them coarsely.
Melt butter and oil in a frying pan, and saute mushroom caps until lightly browned.
Season.
Stir in chopped stalks, garlic, shallots, and breadcrumbs.
Toss well, and cook for about 3 min.
Add lemon juice, sprinkle with parsley, and serve immediately, as an hors-d'oeuvre.
