Saute Of Chicken With Soy Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Olive oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 1 whole chicken breast, skinned, boned and cut in strips | ||
| 4 green onions, cut in 1-in (2.5-cm) sticks | ||
| 1 celery stalk, in sticks | ||
| 1 red pepper, roasted and cut in large pieces | ||
| Soy sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Chicken stock | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), heated | |
| Cornstarch | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Cold water | 2 Teaspoon | |
| 4 portions cooked pasta shells, hot | ||
| Grated Romano cheese | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Heat oil in frying pan over medium heat. Add chicken, season, and cook 3 minutes. Add green onions, celery and red pepper. Season again and continue cooking 4 minutes.
Stir in soy sauce and cook 2 minutes.
Incorporate chicken stock and simmer 2 minutes over low heat.
Dissolve cornstarch in cold water; stir into mixture and bring to boil for 1 minute.
Pour sauce over hot pasta, sprinkle with cheese and serve.
