Sausages In Tomato Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 lb large pork sausages | ||
| Onion | 1 Large, peeled | |
| Butter | 2 Ounce | |
| 4 tomatoes, skinned and mashed | ||
| 1 sp mixed dried herbs | ||
| Sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Long grain rice | 1 Ounce | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Grill or fry sausages for 20 min, until golden brown.
Fry onion in butter for 5 min.
Add tomatoes, herbs, sugar and rice, salt and pepper.
Simmer gently for 10 min or until the mixture is creamy and smooth.
Place in a shallow serving dish and arrange sausages on top.
