Sausage-Bean Soup Recipe

Ingredients
1 pound fully cooked smoked kielbasa, cut into 1/4-inch slices
1 medium onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
1 medium green pepper, chopped (about 1 cup)
2/3 cup uncooked regular rice
1 1/2 cups water
1 can (28 ounces) whole tomatoes, undrained
1 can (IO 1/2 ounces) condensed beef broth
1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 can (20 ounces) red kidney beans, drained
Directions
Cook and stir kielbasa and onion in 4-quart Dutch oven over medium heat until onion is tender, about 10 minutes.
Stir in remaining ingredients except beans.
Break up tomatoes with fork.
Heat to boiling; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
Stir in beans.
Heat, stirring occasionally, just until beans are hot, about 5 minutes.
