Sausage And Bell Pepper Meatloaf Recipe
Ingredients

| Dried sage | 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon, divided | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ground black pepper | 3⁄4 Teaspoon, divided | |
| 15% fat lean ground beef | 1 1⁄4 Pound | |
| Sausage | 12 Ounce | |
| Chopped onion | 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) | |
| Chopped green bell pepper | 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) | |
| Finely crushed crackers | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Such As Ritz) | |
| Garlic cloves | 2 Large, minced |
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Whisk 1/2 cup tomato sauce, eggs, 1 teaspoon sage, salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper in large bowl.
Add ground beef, sausage, onion, bell pepper, cracker crumbs, and garlic; blend well.
Pack mixture into 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.
Mix remaining tomato sauce, 1/2 teaspoon sage, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper in small bowl; pour over meatloaf.
Bake meatloaf until thermometer inserted into center registers 160°F, about 1 hour 10 minutes.
