Sausage Stuffing Towers Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 1/2 pounds bulk pork sausage | ||
| 1 cup packaged herb-seasoned stuffing | ||
| 1 cup finely chopped pared tart apples | ||
| Celery | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), finley chopped | |
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), minced | |
| Snipped parsley | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Chili Sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Dry mustard | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 6 spiced crab apples | ||
Directions
Shape sausage in 12 thin patties, 1/4 inch thick.
Prepare stuffing according to package directions, using 1/4 cup water and 2 tablespoons butter.
Add apple, celery, onion, and seasonings; toss to mix.
Arrange 6 sausage patties in shallow pan.
Top each with 1/2 cup stuffing, then another patty; toothpick through center to hold.
Bake in moderate oven (375°) 45 minutes or till done.
Top with crab apples.
