Sausage Macaroni Recipe
Ingredients
3 tbsp (45 ml) butter
12 smoked sausages, cut into bite-size pieces
1/4 cup (60 ml) green bell pepper, diced
2 celery stalks, diced
10 oz (284 ml) canned mushrooms, drained
Salt and pepper
4 cups (1 L) macaroni, cooked
1 tbsp (15 ml) soy sauce
1/2 cup (125 ml) 15% cream
3 tbsp (45 ml) green onions,finely sliced
Directions
– In a skillet, melt butter and saute sausages, green pepper, celery, and mushrooms and season with salt and pepper. Add cooked macaroni, soy sauce and cream, and stir. Spoon mixture onto warmed plates and decorate with finely sliced green onions.
