Ingredients

 Lasagne noodles4 Ounce
 Italian sausage1/2 pound
 Tomatoes1 8 Ounce
 1 8-ounce can tomato sauce with onion
 Dried oregano1/4 Teaspoon, crushed
 Egg1 , beaten
 1 1/2 cups fresh ricotta or cream-style cottage cheese
 Parmesan cheese1/4 Cup (16 tbs), grated
 Parsley flakes1 1/2 Teaspoon, dried
 1 6-ounce package sliced mozzarella cheese

Directions

Advance preparation: Cook noodles according to package directions; drain.
Cook sausage till browned; drain off fat.
Mix sausage, tomatoes, tomato sauce, and oregano.
Mix egg, ricotta or cottage cheese, Parmesan, and parsley.
Place half noodles in 10x6x2-inch baking dish.
Spread with half cheese mixture; top with half mozzarella.
Cover with half sausage mixture.
Repeat layers.
Cover; refrigerate up to 24 hours.
Before serving: Bake, covered, at 375° about 50 minutes.
Let stand 10 minutes.
