Easy Sausage Jambalaya Recipe
Ingredients
| Regular Rice - 1 cup, uncooked | ||
| Onion | 1 Medium, sliced | |
| Celery | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Vegetable oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Garlic - 2 cloves - chopped | ||
| Smoked Sausage - 1 pound, cut into 1/4 inch slices | ||
| Cooked ham | 1 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Beef broth | 1 , canned | |
| Pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper red | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
MAKING
1) Cook the rice as per the package directions and keep aside
2) Into a large skillet, add some oil and saute the onion and the celery
3) Tip in the garlic, sausage and the ham and saute for 3 minutes
4) Add in the broth, pepper and the red pepper and bring to a gentle simmer for 15 minutes
5) Add in the rice and just heat through
SERVING
6) Serve into 6 individual plates and serve warm
