Sausage Dinner Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 lb. Economy sausage | ||
| 1 chopped or grated onion (large) | ||
| Tomatoes large can | 1 | |
| Flour | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), sifted (Batter:) | |
| Baking powder | 2 Teaspoon (Batter:) | |
| Egg | 1 (Batter:) | |
| Salt | 1 Pinch (Batter:) | |
Directions
Cook sausage with chopped onion.
Pour off any excess grease, heat the tomatoes and pour over sausage and onions in a baking dish.
Then cover tomatoes with the batter.
Sift dry ingredients into dish, add beaten egg and milk to make a stiff dough.
Drop on top of dish and bake until a nice brown in moderate oven.
