Sausage Corn Chowder Recipe
Ingredients
1 package (8 ounces) Microwave Sausage Links, thawed, cut into 1/2-inch slices
2 cups cubed potatoes
3/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup water
1 can (12 ounces) corn with red and green bell peppers
1 can (17 ounces) cream-style corn
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground thyme
Dash ground white pepper
Directions
Microwave Directions: Place potatoes, onion, celery and water in 2-quart microwave-safe bowl.
Cover with vented plastic wrap and micro wave on High (100%) 9 to 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender, stirring twice.
Stir in sausage, corn, cream-style corn, milk, salt, thyme and pepper.
Cover and microwave on High 7 to 8 minutes or until hot, stirring twice
