Ingredients

 
1 pound bulk pork sausage
 
1 pound ground beef
 
1 cup chopped onion
 
1 cup chopped green pepper
 
1 cup sliced celery
 
2 15 1/2 ounce cans red kidney beans
 
1 28 ounce can tomatoes, cut up
 
1 6 ounce can tomato paste
 
2 cloves garlic, minced
 
2 teaspoons salt
 
2 teaspoons chili powder

Directions

In skillet cook sausage and ground beef till browned; drain off excess fat.
Transfer meat to a slow electric crockery cooker.
Stir in the remaining ingredients.
Cover and cook oh low heat setting for 8 to 10 hours or high heat setting for 4 to 5 hours
