 Tinda1⁄2 Kilogram, cut in to halves, peeled
 Cooking oil2 Tablespoon
 Cumin seeds3⁄4 Teaspoon
 Fresh coriander leaves2 Tablespoon, chopped
 Aniseed1 Teaspoon
 Tomatoes/With coriander and aniseeds2 Large, pureed
 Turmeric powder1 Pinch
 Chili powder To Taste
 Salt To Taste

Heat the oil.
Add the cumin and let it fry for a few seconds.
Don't let it get too dark.
Add to the oil the pureed tomatoes, coriander and aniseed.
Fry gently till the fat separates.
Add the turmeric salt and chilli and the vegetable.
Mix well, add 1/2 a cup of water and close the cooker.
After it comes to maximum pressure, reduce heat and keep on the fire for 2-3 minutes.
Open the cooker and dry out the liquid further if you prefer a dry preparation.
