Sauerkraut With Apples Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 1 Small, chopped | |
| Sauerkraut | 1 Can (10oz), drained | |
| 1 cup tart apple slices | ||
| Flour | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 1/2 teaspoon instant beef bouillon dissolved in 1/2 cup hot water | ||
| Vinegar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Caraway seed | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Combine butter and onion in 1 quart casserole.
MICRO WAVE on HIGH until butter melts.
Stir in sauerkraut and apples.
Sprinkle with flour.
Pour in bouillon.
Add vinegar and caraway seed.
Mix gently.
Cover.
MICROWAVE 3 to 5 MINUTES on HIGH, or until apple is tender and sauce slightly thickened.
MICRO WAVE on HIGH until butter melts.
Stir in sauerkraut and apples.
